About Our Company

Moores's Service and Towing was founded in 1972 by Butch McKibbin in Elkhart Indiana with just one tow truck and a single stall brake shop located on South Main Street in Elkhart.  Thirty-five years later, with two business locations, twenty plus trucks and state of the art equipment, Butch has grown to serve all the State of Indiana.

Moore's provides transportation, towing, service and recovery primarily to the local area, but upon request will travel to anywhere within the country. Moore's is the primary towing service in the area serving the Elkhart City Police Department, the Elkhart County Sheriff's Department, Indiana State Police Department, and the Indiana Tollroad.  With Indiana Tollroad Authority, Moore's Service and Towing can service, tow and/or recover any size vehicle along the Interstate.

Moore's Service and Towing's sister company is Moore's Brake Service. Located on South Main Street, Moore's Brake is a full service auto and truck repair and preventative maintenance facility. Equipped with three full service bays, Moore's Brake can even align and balance the largest of motor homes, buses and tractors.
